Our maintenance crews are responsible for taking the vision dreamed up by the designers and built by the construction department and turning it into reality by carefully caring for sites over the years. Depending on your skills and interests, you would be assigned to lead a landscape crew, a mowing crew, or a personal gardener route. If you like pattern and routine, a mow crew may be for you. Want to do something new every day? You belong on a landscape crew. We work on some incredibly unique properties throughout the city. We expect our foremen to not just carry out a work order, but to effectively manage job site work flow and act as a leader to your crew members. We work to improve your skills both in landscaping and management as you work with us. We consider our foremen to be more than just landscapers – we train them to be leaders and artisans of their craft.

Construction Foreman

Here at 317Grow we consider our construction crews artisans, and our foremen are the point people on the ground bringing the designers’ dreams into reality. We look for broad experience, attention to detail, independent thinking, and a deep sense of pride in the work. Our crews are responsible for both hardscape and planting work, grading and drainage, and in some cases basic carpentry and installation of special features. Masonry work, lighting, and irrigation are handled by sub-contractors. We take great pride in designing truly unique landscapes with sometimes unconventional or under-used materials, so we look for people who thrive when faced with challenges and new opportunities. Turf Specialist

We take pride in keeping our customers' lawns in pristine condition. That would not be possible without an experienced Turf Spray Technician. For much of the season this team member would work alone applying routine programs of fertilizer and pesticides as well as specialized treatments to deal with specific problems as they arise. Depending on our scheduling needs, on some days you may also assist other maintenance crews with tasks such as mowing, mulching, pruning, and general site cleanup. We are looking for someone who works well independently, pays close attention to detail, and understands how to communicate with clients about their lawn. Knowledge of turf pests and problems is a huge advantage, but we expect that you will continue learning as you gain more experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Indiana driver’s license

  • Current Indiana RT license

  • Must pass background check and drug screening

  • Equipment experience: Z spray (or other riding sprayer), backpack spraye

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English

  • Ability to lift minimum 50 lbs

  • Minimum 1 year related experience

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of turf grass varieties

  • Knowledge of turf pests, diseases, and other problems

  • Basic irrigation troubleshooting

We are always looking for hard-working people to join our construction and maintenance crews under the leadership of our foremen. While experience is preferred, we believe strongly that on-the-job learning can catch any employee up if they come in with the right attitude and character. Snow Plow Driver

Our snow removal teams clear sidewalks, drives, and lots for residential and commercial properties all over the greater Indianapolis area. We are seeking experienced plow drivers for both residential and commercial routes to join our team. We are hiring both employees and subcontractors. Employees use our equipment, and subcontractors use their own. If you have your own truck and plow and are interested in driving as a subcontractor, please contact us.

If you enjoy working for our team through the winter, we welcome you to apply to join our team full time in the spring. There is always room for a good attitude and work ethic in the 317Grow family.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Indiana driver’s license that passes our insurance standards

  • Must pass background check and drug screening

  • Snow plowing experience, preferably with references

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
