Getting to Know Us: Evelyn

We are a unique and interesting group of people here at 317Grow, and we love it. As our clients, you may only get to meet a handful of our team members, and even then you may not get to know them very well. We picked 20 interesting questions to ask our team, so look for these posts added to our usual mix every now and again. Today we'll get to know a little more about Evelyn, our design intern turned full-time design team member.

1. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
   Learn a new language or paint
   

2. What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
   Traveling and gaining knowledge of different cultures
   

3. What skill would you like to master?
   Archery
   

4. What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
   Going to the moon
   

5. What songs have you completely memorized?
   Ummm Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
   

6. What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?
   Was my dog frozen with me? ..... Why not?
   

7. What are some small things that make your day better?
   Spending time with friends and family, my dog, beer, tacos, a good book, and a nice bubble bath
   

8. What’s your favorite genre of book or movie?
   Sci-Fi/Fantasy
   

9. What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of?
   Hydroponics!
   

10. How do you relax after a hard day of work?
    I get comfy in bed and watch my favorite TV shows/movies
    

11. What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?
    Mexico
    

12. What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
    Volunteer/help those in need not just once but as often as you can
    

13. What’s the best thing that happened to you last week?
    I got to visit one of my best friends from college last weekend!
    

14. What amazing thing did you do that no one was around to see?
    I wouldn’t say it’s amazing, but it was exciting to me: I landed my first skateboarding trick!
    

15. What fad or trend do you hope comes back?
    Fanny Packs!
    

16. What city would you most like to live in?
    Seattle, Washington
    

17. What movie title best describes your life?
    Umm I’m not sure
    

18. What is the luckiest thing that has happened to you?
    Just being fortunate enough to have the family that I have. Knowing that we are all healthy and happy makes me feel extremely lucky.
    

19. Where do you usually go when you when you have time off?
    I usually spend time off with loved ones
    

20. What is the most impressive thing you know how to do?
    I wouldn’t say it’s super impressive, in fact it’s pretty lame, but I know how to play Magic and Yugioh card games.
